What people are saying about our homemade hot sauces
Wow! MANO’S PIRIPIRI RUB is better than the churrascarias here in Portugal. The flavors are complex yet distinct. ….I need more very soon.
Made some guacamole the other day for lunch and added 2 good splashes of Manofuel Sweet Heat….delish!!
I recently made some grilled chicken with Mano’s PIRIPIRI Rub for a patio party recently, and it truly was excellent…. It reminded me of the great grilled chicken meals back in Portugal”. “Let me know when you put it on your website, as my friends and I want to order some.
Had a huge crowd in for the holidays and made some Tamales. Put out the bottle of Mano’s Rocket Fuel, you sent me and it was a huge hit with everyone. We used the entire bottle. MANO’S ROCKET FUEL is the BOMB!!
I have used MANO’s ROCKET FUEL on just about everything and like the flavors and also the spicy hot finish. MANO’s ROCKET FUEL is the balls! I especially enjoy it on my omelets or eggs in the morning. Great way to start my day. I also use it on various grilled meats, as it has such a great taste.
Well I have tried some unique recipes using MANO’s PIRIPIRI Sauce – like on some deviled eggs. The taste and flavor was like nothing else I have ever used. That smoky, spicy flavor is just great, and the burn just stays on your tongue for a while. AWESOME!!!
Sebby and Zoey give Manofuel’s Calypso Sweet Sauce a “thumbs up!” I put it in the orzo salad and then on the chicken that was inside the pita pockets! Sebby asked me to make him two more so he could take it to lunch at camp tomorrow! Thanks again!
Mario, Great Stuff!! during the last couple of days we have tried all the sauces. My father-in-law loves hot stuff and he like them all. He thought the Verde was too mild, My wife and I love it the way it is. The Piri-Piri is real hot and I need to try it again. The Calypso is great on fish and meat as well.
Salmon and baby spinach w/ Manofuel Sweet Heat
On a piece of aluminum foil big enough to make a packet…put couple of handfuls baby spinach on to middle of foil, S&P to taste.. break one pat of butter into 4 little pieces and put on top of spinach..lay one 4 oz. Salmon filet on top of the butter and spinach …brush top of filet with Sweet Heat (amount to your preference)…pull up foil around Salmon to make a packet..vent for steam. Bake in 400° oven for 15-17 minutes depending on the thickness of filet.
Wow! These new sauces are just delicious! I cannot recommend enough Mario Fiel’s “manofuel” hot sauces. I especially like his Picante Verde and his Calypso Sweet Heat. These sauces are loaded with flavors and are a wonderful addition for appetizers and main dishes. You should try his Smoke Shack Blend rub, too. You will not be disappointed. I plan to buy replacements soon, as we go through them quickly!
My son who loves hot sauces thought the Rocket fuel was super hot which he admires. He normally doesn’t care for the flavor of habanero, but the Calypso heat with the sweetness made that a hit. But his favorite – and mine as well – is the Picante Verde. Something about this recipe make it so tasty with just the right heat level. Great job on your products.
I will come back at some time to your website to try the others. In the meantime I’ll make sure to have my friends who enjoy hot sauce give these a try!
Loving the Piri Piri I bought at the fair this weekend. Excellent lunch of brown rice and your sauce!
Your piri piri is so authentic, it tastes just like the ones I used to buy at Maputo market!
